Before you race off to post up your advertisement or affiliation there are a few rules and regulations you must abide by.
- We will not allow any advertisements or affiliations of sites which are purely designed for cybering and such nonsense. This goes against the proboards agreement.
- We understand everyone has their own tastes in reading material and movies and that is fine. However, Blood Haven does not support Twilight, Jonas Brothers, and Band sites.
- Blood Haven will NOT affiliate with sites rated M for mature even if any sexual content is contained within a board(s) which can only be accessed by registered members and is pass word protected. We apologize if this stipulation seems harsh but we do not condone the exposure of such material to any minors who may come across the site and do not wish for an affiliation to be the cause of our site to be shut down. This rule pretains mainly to any other site which does not use the proboards domain seeing as how tight they have become with the content rule on sites. It's impossible for a site to now remain on the proboards domain if it has anything above a pg-13 rating.
- When affiliating we request that our mini banner is placed somewhere on your site's main header/footer or global header/footer and not inside the header/footer of a board, our banner must be out in the open seeing as we place your banner out in the open.
- Affiliations will have a staff member respond saying if the affiliation has been accepted or rejected and the thread shall be locked once the staff replies. If an affiliation is rejected the staff shall include a reason as to why. We apologize for any inconvenience.
- All mini banners must be 88x31 in size otherwise they will stretch the page. If your banner is larger than 88x31 it shall be resized. Banners are allowed to be smaller than 88x31.
- If you wish for your banner to be in a static position then our banner must be in a static position.
- If your site goes inactive for more than two months your banner shall be removed.
- Please notify us if your site is moving, or merging with another site or if you simply need to replace your banner with a new one. For such instances, please post in the sub-board labeled Affiliation Editing.
- We humbly ask that only admins or staff members with access to headers and footers place affiliation requests. This is to prevent mis-communication between members and staff on the requesting site and mis-communication between our two sites. We have witnessed plenty of times where a site member makes a request for an affiliation and the staff members of that site do not receive the message from the member about the affiliation. This rule is in place to simply prevent stress on everyone.
- You have 48 hours to place our banner up on your site from the time you request and affiliation. If our banner is not up within this time frame then your request shall be denied. We will check to see that our affiliation is up before placing yours up.
These rules are subject to change as staff see fit.
